Long time; no see!
It’s been a good while since I put anything on here. I’m still alive, though. My latest news is that we’re going to Scotland in September! Isn’t that exciting?

New people
We met some new people, nearby neighbors, tonight. Aren’t people wonderful? It takes all kinds to make a world!

Tumblelogs
There is much information available about these Tumblelogs such as this. I like mine. It’s fun! It’s different! It’s mine!
Tragic Weather
The news reports of tragic weather in the mid west indicates that seventeen people have died from the severe flooding, winds, tornadoes, etc. It is unreal how the world is being brought to its knees by “Mother Nature.” I’m afraid the weather patterns we’ve been seeing for a couple of years or more are going to become to norm. Beautiful days are few and far between. The...
To Move or Not To Move!
It’s difficulty to know what to do in our situation. We have an opportunity to move to a different location here, and we would like a larger place; nonetheless, we not exactly of one mind as to whether we want to take advantage of this possible move. Why are decisions so hard to make?
It's Raining; It's Pouring
We’re getting some of that much needed rain now. It is barreling down! The ground is thirsty!
Cady's College Career
The best of luck to Cady and her parents as they make their way to Cady’s school. Best wishes to them all!
More Bad News
How sad that the scene at the Utah mine, where six miners are trapped, is worse - ten of the rescuers have been injured by a “bump” in the mountain. There is non-stop coverage of the happening on tv.
Good Deed for the Day
My son helped two of my friends by scanning, editing, sizing, and printing a picture they’ve been trying to mount in a specific frame in preparation for a special reception. The deed is done! Nice job!
RAM
Just ordered another gig of RAM for this computer. It’ll be in Friday at the soonest or Monday at the latest.
Incompetence
There seems to be way too much incompetence in the world today; people are made to suffer because people in business can’t do their jobs without screwing up big time! I hate it!
Dead, Dead, Dead
The battery of my UPS is dead! It’s been telling me that for a good while now, but it just finally got through to me. Now I know what that strange noise is I’ve been hearing at 7:10 a.m. daily.
Good Luck to Cady
I hope Cady’s Goodbye party went well this evening. We wish her great success in her studies and lots of fun a CCU!
Sick!
I hope nobody catches the cold I’ve had this last week. It’s not gone yet, and I’m afraid for the others in the family.
6 Miners in Utah
How disheartening that the efforts to reach the miners have not been successful as yet. There is still hope, but the longer it takes, the less likely it is that the miners will be rescued. I pray that they will be!
Blue Screen of Death?
I was so disappointed and depressed over the news that the Shuttle Computer had run into a “fatal snag.” I was more than happy to hear that it wasn’t “fatal” after all! I feel better.
White & Bright
I just realized that my sister’s chorus wears “white & bright” as a summer costume, just like my chorus does!
Hubby!
Hubby is climbing a ladder and cleaning out the gutters. Tricky job, that is! Hope he’s careful!
What to Do?
Can’t help but wonder if we should purchase a different place. We can’t seem to agree on the pros and cons or price.
Scrapbook
I’ve been working on a huge scrapbook project for the Notables Tenth Anniversary. The scrapbook will end up being probably six volumes. Occasionally, some of the members come design a page or so. I hope to have this finished when our last celebratory quarterly meeting is held in December of this year.
Ladybirds →
This site is about the Ladybird Barbershop Harmony Singers, a women’s barbershop chorus that I direct and sing in. You can see pictures of the chorus in action.
The Notables Organ Club →
Visit this site to learn about the senior citizens organ club, which I founded in 1997. We’re celebrating our tenth anniversary this year!
